Hirohiko Takayama
Hirohiko Takayama is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He was born on May 5, 1966 in Tokyo, Japan.
Takayama was hired by Atlus as a freelance composer to work on the soundtracks to several of their video games. Some of which are known in the video game community such as Friday the 13th, The Karate Kid and Xexyz. He also had the honor of composing the only two games that used all eight channels in Namco's Japan-exclusive N163 chip for the Famicom. In 1998, he founded AON-DO where people could listen to samples of his latest work and buy them. Hiro also teaches at a college in Japan and writes books on music composing, software, etc. He currently runs his own website and sells his current music on iTunes.
While Takayama hasn't composed video game music in a long time, he says he would like to do it again sometime.
