Harumi Fujita (not related to the other Capcom composer Yasuaki Fujita) is a Japanese composer and sound effects creator best known in the video game community for her work at Capcom. Fujita was born in Tondabayashi-shi, Osaka, Japan, attended high school at Mihara, Osaka Prefectural High School, and graduated in 1980. She then attended college at the Osaka Sogo College of Design and graduated in 1984.
Fujita began working at Capcom around 1984. There, she composed the soundtracks for numerous game and collaborated with several other composers. She left Capcom around around 1990 to become a freelance composer. She continued working in videogame industry as a composer until around 1998.
She now composes music for stage performances and does audio consulting. She currently lives in Ibaraki-shi, Osaka, Japan.
