Go Ichinose is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He is known for his work on most of the games in the Pokemon series. He joined Game Freak in 1993. His first work for the company appears to be Bazaru de Gozaru no Game Degozaru, where he was involved with planning and game design, as well as audio duties. Ichinose later became a Sound Leader for Game Freak, and was the audio lead for Heart Gold and Soul Silver, where he says he tried to capture the emotions of the main character and the scenes of his journey. In addition to his soundtracks, he has also done sound effects for many of the Pokemon games, including the Pokemon voices.

Ichinose continues to work at Game Freak to this day. In addition to audio, he also works as a planner for the company.
