Faces ...tris III (AMI)
|Faces ...tris III|
Faces ...tris III is a puzzle game created by the same guy who made Tetris, Alexey Pajitnov. In this game, you must combine facial features in five rows.
The game was also ported to MS-DOS and the Macintosh, the last shares the same music with the same quality with Amiga version.

The game features twelve songs composed by Ed Bogas. Ed Bogas wrote music in Super Studio Session for the Macintosh, and his compositions were converted to Spectrum Holobyte's Amiga sound driver. Kevin Seghetti programmed a sound driver for Spectrum Holobyte, so the game probably uses his sound engine. Because of the passing years, Kevin is not able to confirm if this game uses his sound engine.
Though the music is the same as the DOS version and uses samples instead of FM synthesis, the compositions were poorly arranged and play significantly slower than the other ports.
It is also interesting to note that the DOS version also credits Peter Ward and Kuswara Pranawahadi. However, Ed Bogas is only credited for the music in the Amiga version.

Kevin Seghetti is the only known person to program an Amiga sound driver for Spectrum Holobyte. He is also credited in the Amiga version of Welltris for sound drivers and both games share instruments.
The game probably uses the same custom format that Super Tetris uses.
The game uses the Amiga's PAULA chip. All four channels are used.
