Dune is a video game developed by Cryo Interactive, based on the universe by Frank Herbert. It is a mix of adventure and strategy games.

Music

Music for Dune was primarily composed by Stéphane Picq, with some contributions by Philip Ulrich.

Recording

Depending on the sound card selected to play music, track length will vary. For example, Wormsuit has its longest variation on AdLib with 6:32 minutes, while the AdLib Gold version lasts for 3:31 minutes, and finally the MT-32 version lasts for a very short 1:18 minute.

The AdLib Gold recording starts with a 1, the Roland MT-32 recording starts with a 2, the AdLib recording starts with a 3.

This soundtrack to Dune was recorded on an original AdLib Gold (1991) with the Surround Module.

Audio Devices

For sound devices, the game supports AdLib, AdLib Gold, Sound Blaster (while mentioning that it is equivalent to the AdLib soundtrack), Sound Blaster Pro, and Roland MT-32 (or LAPC-I card).

Dune is one of the very few games known to take advantage of the AdLib Gold's Surround Module.
