Donald Campbell

Donald Campbell is a British game programmer known for his work with Tiertex. He created the sound drivers for the consoles they worked on.
In 1982, he attended the University of Bradford for Electric and Electronic Engineering and graduated in 1987. Then, he started Tiertex with John Prince. Since October 2012, he has been working at Proquant Estimating Limited as a Managing Director while still working at Tiertex.

Campbell programmed a sound driver which would convert MIDI files to the Genesis.

Campbell programmed a sound driver and wrote a separate tool to convert composer's MIDI files to the Game Boy.
SMS
Campbell programmed a sound driver in Z80 assembly. Music had to be written in Z80 assembly.
SNES
Campbell programmed a sound driver which would read converted MIDI files.
