Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei (デジタル・デビル物語 女神転生, Dejitaru Debiru Monogatari: Megami Tensei translated as "Goddess Reincarnation") is the first game in the continuing Megami Tensei series of RPGs. Based off of the Japanese novel Digital Devil Story, Megami Tensei follows high school student Akemi Nakajima, who writes a computer program that "accidentally" unleashes the demon Lucifer on the world. You know, because "RUN "DEMON"" wouldn't do that... right?

Music
One of the earlier works by Tsukasa Masuko, the soundtrack isn't necessarily bad; in fact, it's really quite good! It's just almost every single song is extremely overshadowed because they can be found in the sequel, which plays music with the N106 chip. So unless you hate that chip or something, you generally won't spend too much time listening to this version outside of playing the game.

Ripping NES music is a very arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
