The music is not the best music on the NES, but it does justice. It is surprising to know that the title and ending music are from the actual commercial. This game was [[Scott Etherton]]'s first and last soundtrack, as he went on to programming games instead of doing music for them and passed away shortly after. The game's programmer Robert Morgan said that Scott Etherton used Acid Loops and Sound Forge for the game's music.

California Raisins: The Grape Escape is an action game developed by Radiance and was set to be released by Capcom. However, rumor has it that due to the California Raisins' dwindling popularity at the time due to poor sales of raisins, led to the game being dropped.
