California Raisins: The Grape Escape (NES)
|California Raisins: The Grape Escape|
California Raisins: The Grape Escape is an action game developed by Radiance and was set to be released by Capcom. However, rumor has it that due to the California Raisins' dwindling popularity at the time due to poor sales of raisins, led to the game being dropped. Surprisingly, this game is a decent one and probably their best game. The story is that the California Raisins band members were captured by a rival band group and they need to be rescued.
The game has some pretty decent music for its time. The game uses the song I Heard It Through The Grapevine, the hit song used in the commercials. The game's programmer Robert Morgan said that Scott Etherton used Acid Loops and Sound Forge for the game's music.
