Black Forest
Composer Todd Porter
Released 1990-??-??
Title Origin Official

Black Forest, often simply titled Forest was composed by Todd Porter for Ultima VI: The False Prophet. Despite the name, the song is never actually played specifically in a forest, but rather the song is one of the four random tunes that plays throughout the game after conversations. The song consists of a hammer dulcimer melody with a guitar harmony, with the two instruments flowing gently through the song.

The official title comes from the Origin Soundtrack album, however, many people refer to this song as Forest because its file name in the original DOS version is Forest.m.
