Platform: NES
Year: 1989
Developer: Data East Corporation

Bad Dudes is a platform beat-em-up where you play a, get this, bad dude, who must beat up a bunch of ninjas that kidnapped the president (best plot EVER!). The NES port is based off the quarter-draining arcade machine. You can choose between two different fighters, one meant to look like Bruce Less, the other like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but they play exactly the same. Like the NES port of Double Dragon (NES), the quality of the game was severely degraded by taking away the simultaneous 2-player.

Couldn't they just be named Mike and Steve?

I'm totally a bad enough dude bro! This game is rad!

In real life, ninjas don't wear bright blue pajamas.

Like all bad dudes, I can shoot fire from my fists!

Music

The NES port didn't have the impressive graphics seen in some of the other ports, but they did a good job converting the music (or as close as you can get using the NES's audio capability). The original music composers were not credited in the NES port. The soundtrack is very small using a mere six tracks, but the music is pretty catchy, especially Stage, Type 2.

Ripping NES music is a very arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
