Atlus (アトラス Atorasu) is a Japanese video game developer. The company was created from former Tekhan staff. When Atlus started NES development, they developed titles under LJN. Because of this, LJN would not let them put their name on their games or staff credits. Eventually, Atlus became a publisher and started giving credit to themselves and the people behind the games in their later NES titles.
