The driver was also one of the few to utilize Namco's N163 expansion sound chip, and the only one to utilize all eight channels. According to Masuko, it wasn't too hard implementing the technology into his sound driver. Later versions of his sound driver used the triangle channel for percussive effects in conjunction with the noise channel, making the music sound very similar to [[Stephen Ruddy (NES Driver)|Stephen Ruddy]]'s.

Atlus (株式会社アトラス, Kabushiki-gaisha Atorasu) is a Japanese video game developer. The company was created from former Tekhan staff. When Atlus started NES development, they developed titles under LJN. Because of this, LJN would not let them put their name on their games or staff credits. Eventually, Atlus became a publisher and started giving credit to themselves and the people behind the games in their later NES titles.

Atlus is probably best known for their Shin Megami Tensei series. They have also developed some games that went unreleased, such as the NES games Bio Senshi Dan and Happily Ever After.
