Alistair Hirst is a Canadian-American composer. Alistair was originally a freelance musician, doing music for miscellaneous things such as commercials, short videos, and was also a lifeguard. He then moved to Redmond, Washington in July, 1996 where he became the senior audio director at EA of Seattle. In 2002, Alistair left EA of Seattle and is currently the president of Omni Interactive Audio which does music and sound design for Microsoft, EA, and Sierra. Alistair also attended the Capilano College and obtained a music diploma there. Alistair is also one of the founders of the SCA (Seattle Composers Alliance).
