Alex DeMeo began his career as a programmer for Activision in 1984. He designed some of his own games and ported other popular games to systems like the Atari 2600 and 7800. In 1989, DeMeo moved with a couple other Activision employees to Acclaim Entertainment, where he became part of the in-house development team, Imagineering, Inc. There, DeMeo continued to develop and design games and occasionally help with the audio. However, due to the nature of the Imagineering, Inc., most of the games DeMeo worked on were awful movie tie-ins, though he did manage to work on several more creative titles like A Boy and His Blob, Flight of the Intruder, and Battle Tank. When Imagineering closed down in 1994, DeMeo left the videogame industry for good.
Alex DeMeo was primarily a programmer, so he worked on many more games than you see here. These are only the games where he influenced the music.
