Akiyoshi Nagao (he goes by Einosuke) is a Japanese composer and sound designer who worked for Compile and worked on the music and sound for some of the Puyo-Puyo clones. Akiyoshi's first video game music song was the stage clear music for Blazing Lazers for the TurboGrafx-16.

Music Composition

SNES

For the Kirby's Avalanche music, Einosuke composed the music as MIDI files and rewrote them in MML. His instruments were taken from a Roland TR-909, SH-101, and Juno-106.

The game uses Compile's variant of Nintendo's Kankichi-kun sound driver, programmed by Nobuaki Yamasaki.
