From 1991 to at least 1996, Akira Ueda worked for Square, where he primarily worked with graphic design, but he does have a sound credit in for Final Fantasy IV (and the remakes). After Square, he did some art direction for a few Sega games. In January of 2007, he formed his own studio called Audio, Inc., which he uses to continue working with Sega.
