AUD Player is an Winamp plugin that add support for the AUD format. In addition to the plugin, the installer also gives you a AUD file ripper that can extract AUD music from Westwood MIX files.
The plugin doesn't support stereo AUD files, though it doesn't seem that Westwood ever used any in their games. It also doesn't support Westwood's custom compression for 8-bit AUD files which is used in some of their sound effects.
