NSF to MIDI is a Windows program that plays and converts NSF files into MIDI files. It supports most of the NES audio chips including the RP2A03 (it's not known if it supports the RP2A03 PAL chip), VRC VI (but not the VRC VII), RP2C33, NAMCO163, and 5B.

In addition to outputting to standard MIDI format, NSF to MIDI can also output to Roland's GS standard and Yamaha's XG standard. You can also specify to which MIDI device you want to output.

The program has several additional features including support for detecting pitchbends, matching attacks and envelopes, and specifying which MIDI instruments to use for each channel. It does not support the NSFE format.

The program was originally written in Japanese, but English and Russian translations have been made.
